Pfizer, in partnership with BAIF, has embarked on a project to holistically transform villages in Jawhar, Maharashtra. Pfizer has adopted 13 hamlets of the Kualale gram panchayat to improve the lives of the 5000 people who live there. The objective of the program is to:

  • Improve access and availability of drinking water all year round
  • Ensure access to nutrition, sanitation, and healthcare facilities
  • Improve livelihood options through an increase in productivity and diversification
  • Raise awareness about water conservation

With these interventions, Pfizer hopes to help build sustainable, productive, healthier and self-sufficient communities in the region.
