Leading and trusted brands in the Neuroscience and Cardiovascular PortfolioOver the last year, we have focused our efforts on helping Indians quit smoking, and by providing end-to-end solutions for smokers in their Quit Journey through awareness programs. We have also helped train HCPs, build capacity and expanded the pool of smoking cessation experts.
In cardiovascular therapy area our endeavor had been to disseminate recent updates in Atrial fibrillation (AF) and venous thromboembolism (VTE) to healthcare professionals and create awareness on the nuances in the management of Stroke Prevention in AF and treatment of VTE. Atrial fibrillation (AF) and venous thromboembolism (VTE) are common conditions among older adults. Over their lifetime, approximately 1 in 4 individuals will experience AF, while 1 in 8 will develop VTE(3). Our initiatives helped address practical challenges faced by a physician while initiating an oral anticoagulant in patients with AF and VTE.
With women, throughout their lives
Women’s Healthcare (WHC) continues to be one of our most important therapy areas. It is divided into two sales lines: WHC-Maternal Health and WHC-Hormonal Health. The Maternal Health portfolio focuses on maternal nutrition, supplements, antacids and contraceptives. The Hormonal Health portfolio focuses on contraceptives, menstrual disorders and menopause.
