The Great Place to Work^® certification is the 'Gold Standard' that organizations around the globe aspire to achieve to enhance and endorse their employer brand. More than 10,000 establishments across 60 countries participate in the certification process every year. It is a remarkable achievement for any organization to be hailed as a Great Place to Work, and we, at Pfizer, are proud of it. This acknowledgment by GPTW reflects our High Trust, High-Performance Culture that each of us has been instrumental in building. It also speaks volumes about our pride in associating with Pfizer as a workplace and our affinity with the Purpose and Values that we stand for.

Our colleagues – the backbone behind the recognition
Akin to all things at Pfizer, this recognition, too, has been made possible by our people. Our colleagues from across the Commercial, Science, and Medicine and Pfizer Global Supply units in India reaffirmed Pfizer India as their employer of choice and rated us positively during the evaluation process. This allowed us to win this coveted certification in our first year of participation.

While we applied for the GPTW certification this year, we have been hard at work to make Pfizer an amazing workplace for all since we opened our doors in India in 1950. We did this by listening to our colleagues periodically, putting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the heart of everything we do, and most importantly, being compassionate to our people's needs. Our culture, values, and Bold Moves have been built from the ground up – brick by brick, by our colleagues. It is their aspirations, their vision for our organization, that has shaped who we are today.

A global acknowledgment such as this is an enormous milestone for us on our journey in India. However, we aspire to better ourselves every day. We are now focusing our energies on introducing breakthrough benefits and initiatives that help us become a shining example for other organizations in the industry and all companies in India.
